Years ago, it was a popular beach for nudists, but sunbathing nude is now illegal, punishable by a fine and your name in the local paper. There are plenty of refreshment stands within walking distance, so no need to lug a cooler. But there is a sizable amusement park nearby and plenty of food and drink spots.

Only time will tell. There are no beach tags to worry about, maybe because there is nowhere to put them, but get there early because the parking lots fill up and close their gates. Out In Jersey.
